Bay Area Beat TV  is here to work with independent musicians, artists, and filmmakers to show case their craft on community television.  Bay Area Beat TV's first broadcast aired in June of 2009 Al and Matt filmed over 700 videos until Bay Area Beat TV became a web based program on bayareabeattv.com in April 2016. Bay Area Beat TV was filmed at Marin TV we show cased Tito, Rev. Rebia, and Rebecca Roundman, and Home Brew 707. During that time period Bay Area Beat TV aired on Marin TV, Pacifica Coast TV, and Novato Community Television.

As of April 2016 Bay Area Beat TV has been a web based program on bayareabeattv.com  Projects before airing Bay Area Beat TV on Marin TV.  Al Amis founded The Palm Gardens Blues Band and become Producer of Voodoo Hut Recording with his best friend Bobby  aka Squid B  in 1982. They did many projects in music recording and now doing podcasts with Voodoo Hut Recording.  Al Amis majored in photo journalism from the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. 

Matthew Amis started his broadcasting career at KSRH a ten wyatt radio station in the news department at 16 years old. The Rev. Dr. Matthew worked in youth development  since 1994, nursing home programming since 2000, spiritual ministry since 1995, and TV Production since 1997.  Rev. Dr. Amis volunteered with San Rafael City Hall for seven years doing information desk work and was honored  for my time there infront of the San Rafael City Council.  I won an award from The Alliance for Community Media for being an  Audio Director of a show called "Reflections Of Unity" from Comcast Community TV. Rev. Dr. Amis was a founder of Marin Interfaith Youth Outreach Teen Center for teens from broken homes. 

Rev. Dr. Amis runs a nursing home ministry with the Universal Life Churches for over 20 years where he is ordained and got his honorary doctor of divinity degree at.  Rev. Dr Amis has a loyal best friend also named Matthew who is a head grocery clerk we both talk to each other about the meaning of life. We are both bookworms and classic film fans.  Rev. Dr. Amis won an international award from the Red Cross for his training of telephone agents during the 9/11 attacks.

Rev. Dr. Amis is a San Rafael High School grad and majored in nursing home programming and filmmaking at the College of Marin and graduated with honors from the College of Marin.  He volunteers with a christian church in Sebastopol and enjoys it very much providing spiritual support as member of Hessel Church and counsels over eaters at Sebastopol Community Church.
